The Wa High Court sat on the Case involving Issac Anaatakang @ Dapilah and Alhaji Abdul Halim Yahaya also known as Adaalee on 26th of February 2025.

During the court hearing, there was tight security protocol restricting access to the court premises by the Ghana Police Service supervised by Superintendent Franklin Kramoh, the Wa Metropolitan Commander.

The High Court overseen by His Lordship Justice Yussif Assibey stated during an address to the media that The first Accused person, Isaac Anaatakang is to be provided the services of a Lawyer if he isn’t capable of hiring the services of A Lawyer.

“The Court shall provide you a lawyer if you can’t get yourself one, it’s your right,you’re not guilty until proven guilty..”

He went further to state that the court is a place where accused Persons have to be defended till everything proves they are guilty.

The Case has been Adjourned till 14th March 2025.

Late Jontong Naa who was Wa Central Customary Lands Secretariat, Alhaji Mtala Mahama was Reportedly Murdered at his home at Suuriyiri in April 2024, he lifeless body was discovered when he was to be served food.
