A Former Deputy Organizer of National Democratic Congress(NDC), Mr. Iddrisu Abubakari has been Appointed as Youth Employment Agency(YEA) Director for Wa Metropolitan on the 3rd of April 2025.

The Appointment was Issued by Mr
Malik Basintale, the Deputy National Communications Officer of National Democratic Congress(NDC).

His Appointment came in close to two months after Mr. Abdulai Ibrahim, Youth Organizer of Wa Central was Appointed into Same Position as reported on the 20th of February 2025.

The Newly Appointed YEA Boss of Wa is A Teacher by Profession.

The YEA was established under the Youth Employment Act 2015 (Act 887) to empower young people to contribute to the socio-economic and sustainable development of the nation. 

The Youth Employment Agency (YEA) in Ghana’s core mandate is to oversee the development, coordination, supervision, and facilitation of employment for the youth and related matters.
