Updated, New List Out

The Upper West Regional Coordinating Council and concerned Stakeholders have agreed upon the dates in which nominated Metropolitan, Municipal and District Chief Executives of Upper West Region shall be put before Assembly Members for approval or Rejection.

The Dates have been Updated

In the 4th of April 2025, President Mahama Released a second batch of Nominated MMDCES including those of Upper West Region.

In the outlined dates, three districts and one Metropolitan shall go through confirmation process on, Wednesday the 16th of April 2025 and they are, Jirapa, Sissala East and Sissala West Respectively.

On, the 17th of April 2025, Wa West, WA Metropolitan and Wa East Districts will be required to go through the process of confirmation of President Mahama’s MMDCE Nominees.

On the 22nd of April 2025, Lambussie, Nandom and Lawra Districts shall Convene in turns for Confirmation of their MDCEs as the Final Stage of the Process.

Lastly, on the 28th of April 2025, It shall be the turn of Daffiama-Bussie-Issa District and Nadowli-Kaleo District.
