As Christians are called to spread the seeds of faith and love on Earth and in their lives. Rev. Fr. Crycus Tang, the Parish Priest of St Ignatius of Loyola Parish, Lassia Tuolo in the Catholic Diocese of Wa emphasized that Easter celebrations permits Christians to reflect on the role of faith and love in our lives.

Rev. Fr. Cyracus reminded Christians that Christ is the light and the continuation of Christianity in the church. He urged them to believe in Christ and to be the light of the church and to their local communities and fellow individuals. He said Christians are all God’s children and He loves all equally and it was through His love that Jesus Christ died and rose again to redeem mankind.
The message of love and acceptance is at the core of Christianity. Fr Cyracus reminded Christians that God does not discriminate among His children and as followers of Christ, they should also love each other as He loves each other which means spreading love, kindness, and compassion to everyone, regardless of their race, religion, or social status. “Let us be the light that shines on all, just as Christ did in his time on Earth” he said.

Fr Cyracus said the Catholic Church has a long history in the Wa Diocese, dating back to 1929 in spreading the light of faith to Christians and others.
He encouraged Christians in the local churches at the Vieri St Mary’s Catholic Church to enlighten themselves and their communities about the teachings of the church and Christ as they should also be each other’s lover, supporting and uplifting one another in our faith journey which would be a reminder that Christians are all part of one family in Christ. Faith and love go hand in hand, Christians faith in God and His love for us should be the foundation of everyone lives by nurturing this faith, Christians can spread love and kindness to others, creating a better world for all. As they celebrate Easter, let us remember the power of faith and love in lives.

Fr Cyracus appealed to Christians that, faith and love are the seeds of life on Earth and in our lives,as Christians, they should continue to nurture these seeds and spread them to those around us. By being the light of the church and loving each other as God loves to all Mankind. He said Christians can make a positive impact in communities and the world.
