Former CEO of Students Loan Trust Fund has expressed gratitude to sympathizers who mourned with him and also supported in various ways during his late Mother’s funeral Ceremony in Kojokperi located in Daffiama-Bussie-Issa District.
An Islamic Qur’an recitation and prayer was held in memory of Hajia Hawawu Mahama from Kojokperi, the 40 days funeral rite was organized on Sunday, 20th February 2025 According to Islamic Customs.
Several Stakeholders were present including the Former District Chief Executive (DCE) of Daffiama-Bussie-Issa, Hon. Nadi Sanda Imoro, Some Party Reps and Executives of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and NDC.

Some past students of Lassie Tuolu SHS were also present at the Funeral ground to sympathize with the former CEO.
Some Assembly Members from Far and wide including the Assembly Member for Challa Electoral Area, Hon. Mumuni Seidu.
The former CEO of Students Loan Trust Fund was enthused with the level of support during the time of grieve and expressed gratitude to all participants numbering close to thousand in Kojokperi.
“Thank You From the entire BAYORBO family, we extend our sincerest appreciation to all those who supported us in diverse ways during the 40th day Adua of our late mum Hajia Hawawu Mahama. Allah bless us all”.
On the 2nd of January 2024, Hon. Nuhu Mahama was Appointed by President Akufo-Addo as CEO of Students Loan Trust Fund.
Mr. Nuhu Bayorbo Mahama served as the Deputy National Organiser of the NPP from 2014 to 2018.
He also served as the Zonal Coordinator for the Volunteers Program (V16) during the 2016 general elections, where he reportedly mobilized over 50,000 volunteers and professionals for the New Patriotic Party.
He also served as TESCON President for UDS, Wa campus from 2008 to 2009.
