The Wa High Court Presided Over by his Lordship Justice Yussif Assibey has Today, Wednesday 30th April 2025 Refused to Grant Requests for transfer of a murder case involving Isaac Anaatakang and Abdul Halim Yahaya/Adaalee from Upper West Region.

In a court session Today, Lawyer of the Second Accused Person made reference to a petition they made to the Chief Justice Demanding for the case to be transferred, he cited two instances where a case can be transferred explaining that the accused person could petition for it or the CJ could take a decision to transfer the case.

Abdul Halim Yahaya’s Lawyer made the appeal but it was not granted by the Wa High Court. The judge indicated that, there wasn’t any response from the chief Justice to merit a transfer after Thier Application.

The Wa High Court has given The Parties till 7th May 2025 to submit their Dockets and other relevant Documents after which the case was adjourned till 14th May 2025.
