The Coordinating Director of Wa Municipal Assembly, Mr. Adams Moro has issued a directive, halting development projects in the Wa markets including Public Private Partnership (PPP), private initiatives, or individual efforts.

According Mr. Adams Moro, This measure is necessary to facilitate a comprehensive review and restructuring of the market development framework to ensure proper coordination, planning, and compliance with relevant regulations.

CESSATION OF ALL MARKETS DEVELOPMENT ACTIVITIES
The Wa Municipal Assembly hereby informs the general public, private developers, and all stakeholders that effective immediately, all forms of development within the Wa Municipal Markets are suspended until further notice. This directive applies to all projects whether undertaken through Public-Private Partnerships (PPP), private initiatives, or individual efforts.
This measure is necessary to facilitate a comprehensive review and restructuring of the market development framework to ensure proper coordination, planning, and compliance with relevant regulations. The Assembly remains committed to promoting organized and sustainable development for the benefit of all.
Accordingly, all affected individuals, groups, or entities are required to report to the Office of the Municipal Chief Executive at the Wa Municipal Assembly for further engagement and clarification regarding their projects or interests.
