Ing Prof. Hamidatu Darimani, CEO of Spicy Foodies Restaurant and Lecturer of DHLTU has been Appointed to Governing Council of Simon Diedong Dombo University of Business and Integrated Development Studies(SDD-UBIDS).

The Simon Diedong Dombo University of Business and Integrated Development Studies (SDD-UBIDS) was established in 2019 by the Government of Ghana. It was created through the Simon Diedong Dombo University of Business and Integrated Development Studies Act, 2019 (ACT 1001), which transformed the former University for Development Studies (UDS) Wa Campus into an independent public university. The university’s main campus is located in Bamahu, Wa, Upper West Region.

Prof. Darimani is the Board Chairman of Naa Momori Technical Institute and was Outdoored in 2022 as the Gender representative for West Africa on the executive board of” ATUPA”.

As an Expert in Agriculture Engineering, she has made several discoveries and published in Several Journals.

She is a past student of Lassie Tuolu SHS, a category A School that has set a benchmark of excellence in Senior High School Education in Upper West Region, she is a product of University of Birmingham and Hokkaido University.

Prof. Darimani is an advocate for Child Rights and is poised for a positive turnout in Academia within The Upper West Region and Beyond.

Her Restaurant, Spicy Foodies Restaurant was adjudged as Most outstanding by the Ghana Tourism Authority in 2024 at Delaggio Hotel.
