Some residents of Lawra Municipality, one of the oldest districts in Upper West, have called for government to improve infrastructure of their only Tertiary Institution.

The Nursing Training College which has produced several health professionals set aback by infrastructure deficit compelled management to enroll very few qualified students.

Teaching and learning is difficult as a result of limited access to classrooms and halls for some practical assignments.

The college was established over a decade ago and has since not gotten the needed attention despite calls by stakeholders including Chiefs of the area.

Lawra is located in the Upper West Region of Ghana.
