Ten Students of Lawra Senior High School in the Upper West Region are feared dead after the drowned in a river known as Dikpe River in an attempt to cross the river in a canoe.

The Incident occurred today, 14th June 2025 per reports gathered by Upper West Media Team.

Three Students were found Dead whilst search is still ongoing to find the others.

Students of Lawra senior high get drowned at Dikpe river this morning as they attempted to cross the river

Three(3) students were found dead..

And the men are still busy searching for others..

According to sources there are about Ten (10) students in the boat only 3 students were able to survive..

So the search team are still busy looking for the remaining four (4) dead bodies..

Lord have mercy on us😭😭😭😭😭
