The Newly Confirmed District Chief Executive of Nadowli-Kaleo, Madam Mary Haruna has expressed gratitude for he endorsement as DCE for the District.

Madam Haruna polled 46 Yes Votes, 8 No Votes and One Rejected Vote on the 16th of June 2025.

The Appreciation Message was released on the 17th of June 2025 by David Jawara, The Acting President of Kaleo Traditional Area.

STAKEHOLDERS FOR THE CONFIRMATION OF HON. MARY HARUNA AS
DCE FOR THE NADOWLI/KALEO DISTRICT
It is with much excitement and gratitude that we the youth of the Kaleo Traditional Area wish to extend to HE John Dramani Mahama for his renomination of Hon. Mary Haruna who was duly approved yesterday, by our honourable assembly members.
We extend sincere appreciation to all our assembly members, the Upper West regional chairman of the NDC Mr. Abdul Nasir Saani (Bunas), the Upper West regional minister Hon. Charles Lwanga Puozuing, to the Nadowli/Kaleo constituency chairman and his entire executive committee and to our dynamic member of parliament. You have all shown that as and when the need arises you put the district first.
We also acknowledge all our compatriots who also applied for the position but couldn’t catch the eye of the president, we thank you for your dedication to getting her confirmed. Please do not despair because we are optimistic that, there are better opportunities ahead of you.
As young people, we wish to call on each and everyone to support the DCE in her quest to achieving the vision of the president which would culminate into the development we aspire for.
To our confirmed DCE, we wish to caution that, let not the initial rejected be a basis to hold grudges against anyone. Your commitment must be based on peaceful coexistence
and the forward match of the district.
Suffice all to say, the future of the district lies squarely on the shoulders of all stakeholders so let’s put Nadowli/Kaleo first before any other interest.
