On Friday, 20th June 2025, Ernest Damba, a Young TVET expert specialized in phone repairs was spotted on tiktok discouraging upcoming youth from choosing single Mothers as wives.

His statements, which lasted for 9 minutes, 33 Seconds didn’t settle well with some group of people in Wa and other Surroundings areas.

This sparked debates and insults and to escalate issues, resulted in his arrest.

Checks revealed that, a Tiktok user with Tiktok handle @fantasies41 reacted in exasperation, exchanged foul words with Ernest in a chat after which she Reportedly invited the police to arrest Ernest during the weekends.

Ernest was later released from the police custody after several people condemned his arrest and tagged the police as unprofessional in their conduct towards the issue.

Speaking with Ernest on Tuesday, 24th June 2025, he denied issuing threatening messages to any lady, he added that, he engaged the lady (@fantasies41) seeking for her hand in marriage via chat but the lady in return insulted him, insulted his family including his mom, Threatened that he would run soon and also called him a murderer.
Checks in Ernest’s tiktok message box confirmed his claims.

So far, Ernest has deleted the video and has engaged several Media outlets including Radio Waa to explain his side of the story.
