A Ford Edge with registration number GM 1101-17 belonging to Maulvi Issahak Yakubu head of the Tumu Ahmddiyya Missionary was completely burnt Sunday evening,29th June 2025.

The Unfortunate incident Occured few kilometers from Jeffisi to Tumu.

Speaking to the Maulvi after the incident he blamed it to an electrical fault that may have started unknowingly to them.

”We were two in the car but we both left unhurt with our belongings”.

An eyewitness from Jefissi said that an electrical fault likely caused the fire “the blaze was so huge when we rushed there to see what had happened “.

The maulvi was returning from Wa with pilgrims from Mecca to Tumu when the vehicle burnt half way the journey.
