An Elderly Lady yet to be fully identified has reportedly collapsed in the Wa Kejetia today, Monday, 30th June 2025.

The Incident Happened Near the GPRTU Taxi Station at about 12pm.

According to The GPRTU Taxi Station Chairman, Mr. Osman Naanwe who spoke to Upper West Media Team, He indicated that the woman was from the Main Market where she went to buy some items but fell on the ground all of a sudden around the taxi Station.

Cause of the accident wasn’t clearly known but she was picked and laid somewhere safe but was reported to have passed out.

Efforts are being made to carry her to the nearest hospital after the unfortunate incident.

Update

She has been Sent to her Hometown, Chegli in the Wa Metropolis for Islamic Burial.
