On the 14th Of July 2025, A Security man in charge of Motorbike Security at Upper West Regional Hospital was assaulted by some group of people for putting chain locks on their bikes.

The heated arguments and assault resulted in police intervention with some Motorbike seized in the process.

According to the security person at post, The individuals parked their bikes at a space reserved for staff of the hospital.
