On Sunday, 20th July 2025, Two Young men were reported dead in a land related dispute.

According to Home Radio’s Report, Tension at Yanyuo Yiri led to two people losing their lives. Osman Fusein, also known as “Marfa,” aged 47, and Sampa Abubakari, 35, tragically lost their lives on their way to the farm. Reports indicate that this resulted from land disputes.

The Bodies were brought to the Regional CID Headquarters for investigations to Commence.

Yanyuo Yiri Is located Near Katua in the Wa East District of Upper West Region.

Land related disputes have become an issue in the Region with some deaths recorded in Lambussie District, Wa West District several months ago.
