An 18 Months old Baby is feared dead ina manhole at Kumbiehi in the Wa Metropolis of Upper West Region.

The Child was reported missing on the 31st of July 2025 by the Upper West Regional Police Command in a Letter Signed by DCOP Darko Lomotey, the Upper West Regional Police Commander.

Police have moved to the Scene to commence investigations According to Sargent Rashid, A Public Relations officer of the Wa Police Headquarters.

HELP NEEDED TO FIND 18 MONTHS OLD BABY

1. The Upper West Regional Police Command wishes to solicit for information from the general on a missing 18 months baby named Gafaru Jalilu, who got missing on Wednesday, July 30, 2025 at 5:30pm at the Kumbeihi section of the Wa Municipality.
2. Gafaru was last seen wearing a check top and a black pair of short, fair complexion, slim, and all available efforts made by his relatives to trace him proved futile as such soliciting for the assistance of the general public.
3. Anyone with information on him should report to the Station Officer/Domestic Violence and Victim Support Unit/Wa or call 0536376280, 0243217109.
