The Dr. Hilla Limann Technical University’s ICT Department has introduced a one Year certificate program in Information and Communication Technology (ICT) beginning 2025/2026 Academic Year.

According to the Head of Department, Mr. Ismail Zakaria (Mphil), The introduction was necessary to equip students with the needed skilled to fit into the Job market even with a degree or Higher National Diploma (HND), he added that several students are interested in pursuing ICT programs in the University but lack the requirements to be admitted.

Mr. Zakaria noted that with four passes in one’s Wassce Examination, he or she is qualified to pursue a certificate program for a year and subsequently, A Tertiary Diploma for another year. The diploma can qualify the student to pursue a Degree in IT or Cyber Security for an additional Two years, making it Four (4) Years in Total.

He Urged several people to take up the Opportunity to learn relevant skills in ICT to enhance their employability skills and job retention.

Fees for the Certificate Program According to the Head of Department is Ghc1,650.
