A young man by name David Adongo, native of Zuarungu in the Bolga East District and a security man incharge of the Department of Agriculture in the Tumu Municipality was found lying in the pool of blad lifeless in the early hours of Wednesday 20th August, 2025.
Though the cause of death is not immediately known, a close examination revealed a cut on the head that led to excessive bleeding flowing all over the spot of the incident.

A plastic bowl was also found beside the lifeless body with some blad stains in it. A search in his pocket also revealed that his mobile phone was available with a bunch of keys still carefully grappled in his left hand.

The medical doctor at the Tumu Municipal Hospital was invited by the police to do a rapid assessment to ascertain the cause of his death.

Both the doctor and the police are yet to share with the public information regarding cause his death. Meanwhile, the body has since been released to the family and relatives to be transported to Zuarungu, his hometown for the necessary arrangements for his burial. Now the people are living in a state of dismay wondering about the possible cause of the death. If it happens to be an attack (murder) case, that could possibly be the first of its kind in the municipality.
