The MP for Wa West Constituency Hon. Peter Toobu Lanchene, was this afternoon, 29th August 2025, sworn into office, as Chairman of the Board of SIC Life Insurance Company Ltd.

In his speech on behalf of other board members Hon Lanchene expressed his heartfelt gratitude to HE President John Dramani Mahama for the trust and confidence he entrusted in them to serve in such important institution as a board.

Hon. Lanchene pledged to work diligently with the needed capacity and integrity to ensure that SIC grows to achieve it’s desired goals.

He call for teamwork among the board members and other industry players for a collaborative effort in brightening the developmental horizon of the company.

In conclusion he assured the president that “we shall support management in building a strong state institution in the spirit of resetting Ghana”.

The entire Wa West constituency, traditional and religious leaders, the youth and other stakeholders appreciate H.E Mr President for this great honor done us for it is believed that this is the beginning of greater opportunities.
