The Dr. Hilla Limann Technical University, a Public Tertiary Institution in Upper West marked another exhibition Week within the First week of September 2025.

During the Unique Fashion Show and Exhibition Week, The Institution Assessed 49 Final Year Students and Analysed their creative works on Friday, 5th September 2025 inline with Industry Requirements.

Most Students Designed Dresses, Shirts, Executive Clothes in line with some motivation factors including Nature under the Theme “Nature Exploration and Creativity”.

The Costumes were presented before Some Selected Judges and the Media.

According to Some Lecturers of the Fashion Department including Mr. Isaac Kofi Wulany Awuya, Head of Fashion Department, it marks a Milestone of Job Creation and Excellence in the Fashion industry of Ghana, The Department of Fashion Design and Textiles is focused on Pentrating the International Markets including the African Markets with their Unique Students trained in line with industry Requirements.

Dr. Hilla Limann Technical University was established in 1999 as Wa Polytechnic and was converted to a technical university in 2020.

It’s Currently Led by Prof. Hamidatu Darimani as First Female Vice Chancellor.
