Some Students of the Issa Technical Institute in the Daffiama-Bussie-Issa District have expressed displeasure over quantity and standards of food served them in the School.

A demonstration by the students took place in Issa, Within and around the school on Saturday, 6th September 2025.

Some stakeholders including Mr. Adamu Dassanah, Regional Officer in charge of Buffer Stock have called for calm.

Currently, the Upper West Regional Director of Ghana TVET, Mr. Saaka Adams has visited the school to address the issue.

The District Chief Executive, Mr. James Wor was also at the School to liase with management of the school in order to remedy the situation.
