The MTTD of Wa in the Upper West Region have Processed several civilians for Wa Circuit Court on Monday, 29th September 2025 over some traffic related offenses including Riding without Helmet.

The Riders were apprehended Accross various parts of Wa in the Upper West Region.

Some Of the Offenders including Nursing Mothers expressed shock with the exercise with some appealing to be pardoned for the first time, their plea wasn’t heard by the Police.

However, they were pardoned by the Wa Circuit Court presided over by his Lordship Jonathan Avoogo for being first time offenders but the Court Urged them to get crush helmets to avoid sanctions in future.

The Offenders numbering about 10 thanked the Honourable Court promising to abide by road traffic regulations.
