The Lawmaker of Jirapa in the Upper West Region, Currently serving in his second term as Member of Parliament,Hon. Cletus Seidu Dapilah has been Outdoored as Board Chairman of Northern Electricity Distribution Company (NEDCo) by Minister of Emergency, Hon. John Jinapor.
The Inauguration Took pLace on Tuesday, 14th October 2025.

Statement

Earlier today, I was honored and privileged to have been sworn into office as the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Northern Electricity Distribution Company- NEDCo.

With a clear mandate to distribute affordable, reliable and accessible electricity to its customers, my colleagues and I are determined to provide the much needed advice, support and strategic guidance anchored on the reset agenda and vision of HE President John Dramani Mahama ably supported by the sector Minister, Hon John Abdulai Jinapor.

I express profound gratitude to all the stakeholders who deem me and my colleagues on the Board worthy of this opportunity to contribute to the reset agenda of the NDC Government under President John Dramani Mahama.

The New Board under my Chairmanship shall collaborate with management to make NEDCo better-off.

Indeed, the reset is in sight!
