The Wa High Court Today, 15th October 2025 Convicted and Sentenced A Prime Suspect, Elisha Mahama to Life Imprisonment for Over Murder of Eric Johnson, The CEO Jirapa Royal Cossy Hills Safari Resort.

Seven member Jurors took a Unanimous Decision declaring Elisha Mahama Guilty of the Crime of Murder.

Elisha Mahama was accused of Killing Eric Johnson, a Businessman and owner of Royal Cossy Hills Safari Resort in Jirapa of Upper West Region on the 11th of February 2024.

The Case was precided over by his Lordship Justice Yussif Assibey, The Wa High Court.

Two Other Accomplices, Belinda Miller, a National Service Personnel and Kweku Kankumbata a Security Man were Acquitted and Discharged after a Unanimous Decision by Jurors of the Wa High Court.

Elisha Mahama was sentenced to Life Imprisonment for Murder with reference to Criminal Code, 1960 (Act 29), He is to Serve his sentence at the Ankaful Prison in Central Region of Ghana permanently.

I still maintain that I’m not Guilty in the murder of my former boss the late Eric Johnson everything I knew about this is what my counsel has put before you.

I’m just a mare man and I can’t fight the law than to pass through the channel of appealing but I shall put it before the Lord that one day victory shall be mine. He said.
