On Sunday 19th October 2025, Lassia Community was Alarmed after series of Gunshots were heard in the Community.

Some Individuals were affected after some stray Bullets inflicted wounds on them including a Teacher within the Community show as a A Game Center watching a Sports Program near the Lassia Daily Market.

Two Effected persons were rushed to the Upper West Regional Hospital for Treatment.

An Affected Teacher battling Stray Bullet wounds has moved to Techiman.

Assembly Member of the area, Hon. Arah Michael is yet to comment on the Issue.

Lassia Tuolu Community together with Kendeu Community have been on the security Watch List after Violent Clashes Occurred in the Community
In June 2024, thre people were reported Dead as a result of the clash.

A Teacher in his way to Lassia on Monday, 20th October 2025 Narrated his Ordeal as stated below:

I was nearly killed today at Lassia as the road is been blocked preventing people from accessing it,the security must be informed as they have no rights in preventing people from accessing the road.
I past over their market nearer to my school but I was forced to pass through Tanvari to my school this is lawlessness as there is no single security personnel to control the people.In fact today I really suffered it.
Pls nobody should pass that route,it is dangerous currently.
Sorry I got to their market and was intercepted,so right there up to the bridge were all paraded with the Lassia people.
The question they asked is that whether am from kendew?
I said no but they insisted that I should turn back,they don’t allow people to pass that road now,so am compelled to go back.
That one of their people were shot dead by unidentified group of people,which they assumed maybe their rivals
