The Dr. Hilla Limann Technical University in Wa Established in
April 2020 through the Technical Universities (Amendment) Act, 2020 (Act 1016) has in October 2025 introduced a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) Program in Pharmaceutical Sciences for the 2025/2026 Academic Year.

Applications are open for first Batch to be enrolled for the Academic Year through their Website dhltu.edu.gh.

Admission Requirements

SSSCE Candidates: Passes (AD) in six (3 core, 3 electives)

subjects: English Language, Integrated Science and Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology, and Physics or Elective Mathematics.

WASSCE candidates: Credit passes (A1-C6) in six ((3 core, 3

electives) subjects: English Language, Integrated Science and Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology, and Physics or Elective Mathematics.

Mature Applicants: Mature applicants must not be less than 25 years old at the time of the application, and must have relevant hospital, laboratory /industrial or community pharmacy experience.

G. C. E “O” Level with credits in five (5) subjects including English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry and Physics. In addition, applicants must possess at least two (2)

“A” Level passes in pure sciences.

Holders of Higher National Diploma (HND) in Dispensing Technology. Candidates in this category will enter the programme in the third year.

Holders of DT Final Part III Certificate in Dispensing Technology. Candidates in this category will enter the programme in the second year.
