The District Chief Executive (DCE) for Wa East, Hon. Adamu Sayibu, has undertaken a working visit to Yaala No.1, Bellekpong, and Jumo to inspect ongoing projects and hand over completed educational facilities to the District Education Directorate and beneficiary communities.
At Yaala No.1, the DCE inspected an uncompleted teacher’s quarters. He then proceeded to Bellekpong, where he officially handed over newly completed teachers’ quarters to the District Education Director and the community for use.
Hon. Adamu Sayibu later joined the people of Jumo to hand over their renovated school block. The project, awarded by the District Assembly, has been successfully completed. The DCE officially presented the school to the District Education Director and the community.

Additionally, on behalf of the Member of Parliament, Dr Godfred Seidu Jasaw, Hon. Adamu Sayibu donated 40 dual desks procured by the MP to the Jumo school to enhance teaching and learning.
During the ceremony, the DCE encouraged the District Education Directorate, teachers, and community members to take proper care of the facilities and ensure they are used for their intended purpose. He further assured the community that the MP, together with the District Assembly, has outlined comprehensive plans to continue improving educational infrastructure across the district.
