Some findings made by Upper West Media Team has revealed that several properties of Wa Technical Institute have been vandalized by unknown persons late hours of Wednesday, 19th – November 2025.

According to some witnesses, The disturbances was as a result of Clashes between some students acting as Cadet against regular students of the school.

A misunderstanding amongst the two groups resulted in some outsiders invading the School and destroying properties.

Some Properties Destroyed included Mirrors of the School’s Administration Block, Mirrors and windscreen of two school Buses, one grounded Tata Pickup owned by Ghana Immigration Service with some Registration Numbers we could Access include GV-216-24, BA-1707-13.

Speaking to the Public Relations officer of Wa Technical Institute, Mr. Ankara Sankara, He stated

“..We are Yet to Identify the Root Causes of the Problem, The Security Officers are Here[Wa Technical Institute]to Restore Calm.”
