There are some reports reaching Upper West Media Team indicating that all trees in Wa Technical Institute are to be cut down to increase visibility on Campus.
This according to a reliable source will curb the level of insecurity on campus.
There are also suggestions that CCTV Cameras are to be mounted on all SHS campuses to Curb misconducts.
The proposal by a committee of Wa Technical Institute has sparked debates due to the number of commercial trees in the school.
Others have kicked against the environmental hazard calling for the Environment Protection Agency(EPA) to intervene.
The upper West Region is located at the northern belt of Ghana where Deforestation has been a concern, Deforestation has affected vegetation cover and has also triggered climate change which has affected the rainfall patterns in Upper West.
