An active youth group in Upper West Region popularly called “Jamaica Youth”with a popular slogan “Insurance cover” composed of business men,Mecho men,small scale miners and dominant youth camps from and within has embarked on a mammoth unity walk numbering approximately Ten thousand with the Ghana Police Service,Food and Drugs Authority,Traditional authorities and general public to educate,sensitize and campaign against the abuse of drugs especially by the youth.

The group was led by Alhaji Elyasu Alhassan popularly called “SisCo Wan”
Addressing the podium after the Walk at Kpaguri in Wa,Alhaji SisCo vigorously told the public that, those importing illegal drugs such as Tramadol,red and other related drugs that are above Ghanaian standard should from today either quit,consider themselves out of Ghana or the region,consider themselves named and shame or be seen not looking healthy or medically fit enough to think of dealing in such drugs.
