Lawyer of Abdul Halim Yahaya (Adaalee) is expected at the Wa High Court on Tuesday, 16th of December 2025 with preparations being made to Apply for Bail in favor of Abdul Halim Yahaya.

The Second Accused Person together with Mr. Issac Anaatakang, were accused of Assassination of Alhaji Mutala Tendana at his private abode located at Suuriyiri, a Suburb of Wa in April 2024, The Case is currently being tried by the Republic under Criminal Offences Act, 1960 (Act 29).

In Lawyer Bewel’s Absence, His Surbodinate by Name Lawyer Sylvester Jubuni has applied for Bail on several Occasions for his client Abdul Halim Yahaya Under Section 96(3) of Act 30.

The Bail Offers were Challenged by the State Attorney, Lawyer Saeed Abdul Shakur with reasons that the suspect may abscond if granted the request.

The Case was Adjourned on the 8th of December to 16th of December for Bail appeal to be heard by the Wa High Court Presided over by a New High Court Judge.
