A Month and Several weeks After a Violent clash occured at Maxixco Prostitution Gardens at Wa Kambali, foreign strumpets popularly known as Ashawo have flooded Wa Township without proper documentation, a breach of some constitutional provisions.

An individual affiliated with Jamaica Youth Group Stormed Maxixco Gardens in an attempt to retrieve stolen monies in the possession of a prostitute there, the decision created a violent environment resulting in clashes and Properties getting destroyed in the process. Police intervened and in the process Maxixco Gardens was closed Down pending investigations.

All sex workers there have relicaointo private residence of individuals with some lacking proper documentation to stay in the Country.

On the 16th of April 2020, the Chief Executive officer of Maxixco Gardens was reported Dead and his mortal Remains sent to his hometown Jambogu in the Nadowli-Kaleo District for Burial.

Before his Demise, his pub Wa Kambali, along the Mangu Road was known for hosting and levying prostitutes from Nigeria and other Neighboring countries. It continued operations till 29th October 2025 when violent clashes erupted at the Prostitution joint.

According to Criminal Offences Act, 1960 (Act 29), Section 274 to 276 Managing or condoning prostitution, brothels is against the Law.

Section 274: Makes it a misdemeanor to live off the earnings of prostitution or exercise control over a prostitute for gain.
Section 275: Criminalizes persistently soliciting or importuning in public for immoral purposes or clients for prostitutes.
Section 276: Punishes persistent solicitation for prostitution in public places with fines or misdemeanor charges.
