The Member of Parliament for Sissala West Constituency who doubles as Deputy Communications Minister, Alhaji Mohammed Sukparu has today, 29th December 2025 Supported Widows in Sissala West with some Food Items during the Festival Season of Christmas and New Year.

“You have embraced us as your beloved wives and we sincerely wish for you to reign forever,” declared a widow with deep emotion etched in her voice.

This widow, who had been a fortunate recipient of the generosity and support provided by the Member of Parliament for Sisaala West, the Hon Mohammed Adams Sukparu, expressed her enthusiasm and gratitude fervently, praying for the MP to remain in his noble position. She eloquently conveyed that she and the other widows present viewed themselves as his loving wives, united under his care and protection.

During this touching event, the MP’s donations, which included generous gifts of 5-kilogram bags of rice and beautifully patterned wax cloth, reached approximately 4,000 widows who gathered to receive this much-appreciated aid.

This occasion marked the second time the MP had performed such altruistic acts, as just last year, around the same period, he had extended his kindness by providing essential items such as rice, cooking oil, tomatoes, and mackerel to support those in need.

These charitable actions are reflective of the MP’s commitment to the welfare of his constituents, and they form part of the various initiatives he undertakes as a meaningful way to celebrate the New Year and uplift the lives of the vulnerable members of the community.
