Ahead of the NPP internal elections to choose a flag bear in the 31st of January 2026, Dr. Bryan Acheampong has today, Tuesday December 30th 2025 meet delegates of NPP in Sissala East Constituency of Upper West Region.

He was accompanied by notable Personalities of the Party including Former DCE and 2024 NPP Parliamentary candidate for Wa East, Mr. Ewura Kandia Suleman and Former Member of Parliament for Sissala East Constituency, Mr. Amidu Chinnia to Tumu College of Education where the program was held.

Dr. Bryan Acheampong is hoping to take over the Affairs of the New Patriotic Party from Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia ahead of the 2028 General Elections.

He is in the Race with Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, Kennedy Ohene Agyapong, Kwabena Agyapong and Dr. Yaw Adutwum.

So Far, Three Candidates have toured the Region including Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, Kennedy Ohene Agyapong and Dr. Bryan Acheampong.

The New Patriotic Party(NPP) Lost power to the National Democratic Congress(NDC) during the 2024 General Elections.
