A List of 674 Staff of Public Sector are likely to lose their salaries after their validators were unable to validate them during the January 2026 Validation window opened by the Controller and Accountant General’s Department(CAGD).

The Development has sparked concern after several workers have made plans and are set to receive their adjusted salaries after 9% salary adjustment was approved by the Ministry of Labor Jobs and Employment in 2025.

If These staff are unable to get their paychecks in January, it means they will have to wait till February Validation is opened for arrears to be paid.

The Public Sector pay system was enhanced by Government in January with so features improved in order to enhance it’s operations and get rid of ghost names. However it’s implementation has created validation issues with some validators expressing difficulties in navigating through the new template.
