Events are unfolding about the controversial 24 hour market to be located at the TENGDAMBA school.
Those who are struggling to forcibly remove innocent school children from their classrooms to make way for a market, are you aware that they do not and still have no alternative arrangements for the innocent school children as they are rather planning to take these innocent children to Nuriya school as their new school? Nuriya has it’s own problems.
The claim that TENGDAMBA school is under populated is an unfounded idea let alone talk about its veracity!
There have been suggestions that those who want to take TENGDAM school for a market should rather go the Metro Mass workshop (located at Dondoli in the heart of town) and take part of the workshop, which according to sources, sits on a 20 acre land, and very easy for the 24 hour project.
But the proponents of those who want to TENGDAMB school, do not like that idea and are saying that the Metro Mass bus workshop is very very “far” from the center of town and therefore the 24 hour market cannot rake in much needed revenue should the 24 hour market be located there.
Can you imagine this folks?
The worse aspect is that the Metro Mass bus workshop is the very property of the Wa Municipal assembly of which Metro Mass transport is renting(Ndaw minee)
Then there was a revelation that the 24 hour market to be constructed needs four acres of land(you will ask me how many acres of land is TENGDAMB school sitting on) and it the plain truth that the Metro Mass bus workshop can be more than enough for the 24 hour market but it’s like a man in love; the woman is the ultimate price, in this case, TENGDAMB school must be taken for the 24 hour market at all cost. Lord have mercy!
Again those who wanted to take TENGDAMB school Initially planned to take over the Wa Fadama market for their 24 hour market project. But stiff opposition forced them out. Can you hear me? If that place is up to four acres fair and good!
Those who want to take TENGDAM school are also putting up a very phoney argument; saying that the 24 hour market if it is not situated in the heart of Wa municipality just like where TENGDAM school is located, the creation of the 24 hour market would be meaningless. Do you agree with this assertion?
Let’s make this matter clear here.
The 24 hour market is never a special dispensation to Wa municipal, in fact it’s a nationwide projects. And so why make it look like it’s only the TENGDAM school land that would make it materialize?
Those who want to take TENGDAMBA school are hell-bent to use a “fiat” to forcibly take the school and educational administrators are tight lipped over the matter. In fact they have succeeded in instilling fear in them and as usual of civil servants “they are running fi cover”! (apologies to Ras kimono)
But folks I can tell you that those who want to take TENGDAMB school should be ready for the worse as the people of the municipality will never sit idle by and allow the unthinkable to happen.
From social media to all sundry steps, are being taken to save the school from being turned into a market.
As I write, petition(s) would be forwarded to the education minister Mr Haruna Idrisu, to save TENGDAMB school.
Facts are sacred comments are free!
Nibiso?
There is so much to talk about this TENGDAM school take over but, hey Charley, let’s be cautious for now!
