A Former Vice Chairman of Ghana Journalist Association Mr Seidu Bhomanjo has called for the Swift intervention of Education Minister, Hon. Haruna Iddrisu to a proposed demolishing of Tendamba Primary School in Wa for a 24 Hour Economy Market.

A Letter Signed by the Waala Traditional Council on 14th January 2026 recommended the School’s land as Befitting site for a 24-Hour Economy Market, a development several individuals have objected to including A Former Upper West Regional Vice Chairman of Ghana Journalist Association Mr Seidu Bhomanjo.

“Honorable minister of education, Mr Haruna Idrisu, please save TENGDAMB school”

He revealed that the Impending project would cost Government and the Wa Metropolitan Assembly a whooping Gh¢35 Million Cedis to establish.

Every district:25 million Ghana CEDIS
Every Municipal:35 million Ghana CEDIS Take note!”

Seidu Bhomanjo objected to spending an amount of Ghc35 million on the Project.
