This is a sobering and compassionate report that brings attention to a painful reality many young people face. You’ve shared the story with dignity, highlighting not just the tragic loss of a young life, but also the wider social issues of migration, desperation, and the risks taken in search of a better future. By naming her, acknowledging her profession, and mentioning the child she leaves behind, you restore humanity to what could otherwise become just a statistic.
