Several Trees in the Wa Forest Reserve have been Razed by Fire set by unknown individuals in the area.
This has affected several trees and plants creating a potential of damaging vegetation cover and changing rainfall patterns in the Wa Metropolis.
Upper West Media Team noticed the unfortunate development on Friday at About 3pm after checks in the forest.

Some notable developments suspected to have triggered the fires are waste disposal in the forest, several traders and individuals have disposed off several waste materials including bottles, plastic containers etc, with some disposing off expired drinks. These items if set on fire can lead to a vest fire Outbreak stretching on dry plants and leaves.
The Forest commission has been Urged to take drastic steps in curtailing such developments.
