79-year-old businessman, Sualihu Mumuni Sungumo organized A Peace, Leadership and Conflict Management Seminar on the 14th of February 2026 at Peace Star Hotel in the Wa Metropolis of Upper West Region.

In attendance were several Stakeholders including leaders of Housa, Zabrima Communities. Wa Municipal Office of The Ghana Police Service headed by Superintendent Franklin Kramoh was present during the seminar.

Lawyer Ubeidu Sidique was called upon to issue the Welcome address and purpose of the Program.

In the Stakeholder Engagement Program, several issues were explored and examined including how to foster peace in our homes and how to use leadership positions credibly to foster development. Mr. Mumuni Sulemana, CEO of Senior Victory College and Director of National Youth Authority (NYA) was called upon to educate several people present on Strategic Leadership for development.

Prof. M.H.A Bolaji, a Lecturer and researcher with University for Development Studies was called upon to deliver a presentation on Conflict Management Strategies and Resolution.

Dr. Moomin Seidu Delivered a Statement from the National Chief Imam, calling for Unity and peaceful Coexistence between Muslims and Non Muslims Before, During and After the Ramadan. He stated further that sighting of the Moon will begin on the 18th of February before Fasting would commence.

Mr. Sualihu Mumuni Sungumo was crowned as Yeri Naa in the year 2020.
