Proactive Management of University of Business and Integrated Development Studies (UBIDS) headed by Prof. Deribile have extended the fee payment Date of the University from April to August 2026.

A student is expected to pay a commitment fee of Ghc1,000 after 60 Days of receiving his or her admission letter from the University.

At Least 50% of fees should be paid before he or she can register for the academic year which is expected to commence on 5th of September 2026 for most postgraduate students pursuing the program via weekend mode.

The Statement was released by Dr. Fidelis Tang, Director of University Relations on the 27th – March – 2026.

RE: WA: STUDENTS ALARMED OVER 45 DAYS SHORT DEADLINE TO PAY FEES AT UBIDS.

The University’s attention has been drawn to a publication by Upper West Media, on March 27, 2026, captioned “Wa: Students Alarmed over 45 Days Short Deadline to Pay Fees at UBIDS.” asking them to pay commitment fees within 45 days.

  1. The Management of the University wishes to state that the timeline and conditions for payment of fees for the weekend/distance programme were issued in error using the wrong template.
  2. The said admission letters have since been withdrawn and new ones issued to deserving candidates.
  3. In the new letters of admission, candidates are required to pay a commitment fee of One Thousand Ghana (GHS 1000.00) cedis within 60 days in receipt of admission.
  4. Candidates are also required to pay outstanding balances of the prescribed fees by 31″ August, 2026 and to register for commencement of the Academic Year, which starts on 5th September, 2026.
  5. The University has an open-door policy and encourages media houses to consult on matters like this before going public.
  6. Any inconvenience caused is regrettable.
