News breaking Accross Ghana has revealed that sachet water prices are to rise in Some parts of Ghana including Accra and Kumasi. The Development has created fear and panic with several individuals planning to hoard bags of sachet water in that regard.

A bag of Water is expected to shoot up in Accra and other parts of the south from Ghc6 to Ghc15 according to National Association of Sachet and Packaged Water Producers, a development tagged as unfortunate and self centered.

The Sachet Water Association of Upper West was dissolved in 2021 after a Sachet Water Price battle became unsuccessful on the side of producers. The Regional Chairman by then, Alhaji Toyiba Mahama, CEO of Zam Zam Resigned after his Signature was forged and used in letters to threaten some producers including Dayel water company at Kpongu.

Delicia Water was brought into the Region from Kulmasa by Upper West Media Team to subsidize Prices Despite agitations by Water Producers in Wa in 2021.

No association has been formed afterwards.

This means each producer in Upper West Region is at liberty to sell at the price they wish to Sell.

Upper West Region has over 40 Sachet Water Production Companies.
