Yagha Community was thrown into state of disbelief and mourning when a young man allegedly murdered his paternal uncle in the early hours of Saturday January 14, 2023.

According to CoreNews’ sources in Yagha, the alleged murderer who was said to be mentally ill used a heavy stick to terminate the life of his paternal uncle.

Sources say the sad incident occured at about 7:00am.

It is said that the suspect after attacking the victim went after other family members who took to their heels for safety.

The suspect has been arrested and is in police custody while the body of the victim has been deposited in the St. Joseph Hospital Morgue.
