The Jirapa NPP Election Committee Chairman,  Mr. Gado Aziz  has rebuked claims that the New Patriotic party has allocated Ghc100 to each delegate or coordinator.

In an interview with Marcelinus Mwinsagra of Gangaa FM,  he noted that Several people just speculating without k owing the details.

He added that the party only made Ghc30 available for each delegate and not Ghc100 or Ghc50.

“I have just announced to them,  some people speculated to them them that They will b taking Ghc50,  that is not the case,  the party has only made provision for Ghc30 to be made available to them,  they have expressed sadness to the news but have understood the development”

Elections are currently ongoing in various constituencies and results will ve up next.

42 Delegates were absent whilst 707 casted their votes out of a total of 749. Sorting and counting has started after  voting end at 3pm.
