The Municipal Chief Executive of Lawra, Hon Bomba-Ire Martin Domotiere on 1st of April 2019, handed over 12 motorbikes to the municipal Agric director, Mr Simon Yeng, to help in their Agric extension supervision exercises under the govt’s flagship programme, Planting for Food and Jobs in the municipality.

Before the handing over of the keys to the Director, the MCE bemoaned the reckless use of government property especially vehicles and urged them to use the machines for the purpose of which they were procured.
The brief ceremony took place in front of the Municipal Agric office complex with Mr Simon giving his utmost assurance of best use of the vehicles to achieve their desired purpose.

The MCE earlier in the office inspected an automated mobile screen (AMS) which is expected to be used in educating and sensitize farmers in remote areas on best methods of farming practices.
