CEREMONY OF COMMITMENT AND MISSIO CANONICA AND PASSING OUT CEREMONY (Catechists’ trainees) AT SAINTS PETER AND PAUL PASTORAL AND SOCIAL INSTITUTE. WA

Theme: “Who do you say I am?

In a Eucharistic celebration to mark the solemnity of Saints Peter and Paul, His Eminence Richard Cardinal Baawobr. M.Afr, presided over the commissioning of SIX newly trained Catechists and the Passing Out of Bachelor of Arts students.

In his homily, His Eminence Baawobr. M. Afr, the Cardinal -elect exhorted the newly commissioned Catechists and their wives to make their families and homes to be welcoming and fraternal Communion.

He also entreated them to be dynamic and have good relations with people.

Next, the newly trained Catechists were to possess the necessary human values eg compassion, kindness, patience etc.

Addressing priests, whom the Catechists would be closely working with and their various Christian Communities, where they would be ministering, and the entire Christian faithful, the His Eminence entreated them to SUPPORT their Catechists for effective collaboration.

After the Eucharistic celebration, the second part of the program was Passing Out of Bachelor of Arts students with various degrees of Honours ( First Class and Second Class respectively.
