The Member of Parliament for Sissala East Constituency, Mr. Amidu Chinnia has revealed Plans to Establish a Farm Mechanization Center in Sissala East Municipality.

In the run up to the 2020 general elections, I promised to establish farm mechanization centers in the constituency to promote Agriculture.

A major component of the concept is to provide farming services. I am happy to announce that I have secured some farm machinery to start the establishment of the mechanization concept.

A major innovation of the plan is the deliberate decision to concentrate on promoting rice production. In this regard we will support the whole rice value chain from production to consumption .

I am happy to state that I have acquired the state of the arts rice mill which is currently in Tumu.

I am in the process of developing the structure and installation of the mill. I will be supporting rice production this year and by the grace of God we will start milling high grade rice in Tumu for consumption.

I have started the mechanization process and by the grace of God I will build on what I have started and it will grow from strength to strength.

I will continue to serve the good people of Sissala East well.
