Graduates of JHS are to report to school on the 27th of February 2023 after Ghana Education Service extended the deadline for reporting by a week.

Some Students have also expressed worry due to the fact that they have not been placed in any school because some students either obtained grade 9 in a core subject, others are also optimistic that the self placement portal will begin operations for them to select schools available.

Firstly, Wa Technical Institute is a key Technical Institute moved from Ghana Education Service to Ghana TVET Service. Due to the zeal of some Youth to be self employed after school, parents have resorted to Lobbying for Technical Schools.

Secondly, Nandom SHS is one of the Oldest Senior High Schools in Upper West Region formerly known as St. Michael’s Bigs SHS. Due to the Human Resources produced by the School, several people are optimistic their children will Graduate with flying colors after completion.

Thirdly, St. Ignetius of Loyola SHS Popularly Known as Lassie Tuolu SHS is an Old Catholic SHS located in Wa West District, the first Senior High School in the District, it has produced several human resources in the field of Education, Health and Communication though it has some number of Infrastructural setbacks, some old bones have been urged to donate in those areas for the school’s infastructural Development.

Fourthly, Wa Senior High School formerly a college in some years back, has produced several resources such as the speaker of Parliament, Rt. Alban Bagbin who has pledged to construct an auditorium worth Gh₵9million for the School.

Fifthly, St. Bastlides Vocational Technical Institute: A Technical Institute located in the Nadowli-Kaleo District is a Catholic School that trains students in the area of TVET, Several people are convinced TVET is the Root to self employment.

Also, Kanton Senior High School: A School in the Sissala East Municipality is A Hub of Education and Transformation, Several people are interested in the School because of the Resources available, several old bones have donated logistics to empower the school for improved teaching and learning.

Furthermore, St. Francis Girls SHS, A Single Sex School in Jirapa is also a Catholic School. The school has produced Several Notable figures such as Hajia Alima Mahama, Former Minister for Local Government. Several girls are keen on getting an admission there.

Also, Queen of Peace SHS is another fast growing school that was moved from Category B School to Category A School in 2019, The School is one of the oldest Senior High Schools in Wa which has seen a remarkable level of Infrastructural Development to improve teaching and learning.

Last but not the least, Lawra Senior High School is another top level School that produces enviable category of Graduates, one of the populated schools in the West of Upper West Region because of it role is shaping students, the school is one of the favorites of Parents and Students Lately.

Lastly, Dafiama Senior High School is one of the Oldest Senior High Schools in the Dafiama-Busie-Issa District, it has had some level of Infrastructural Development lately,this has created a room for improved Teaching and learning.
