Wa West DCE Accused of Taking Double Salary

The District Chief Executive of Wa West District, Madam Vida Diorotey has disputed claims that she takes double Salary both as a DCE with the Local Government Service and as a Teaching Staff with the Ghana Education Service.

in an Interview with the DCE on Thursday, 23rd February 2023, the DCE Indicated that there is no possibility for that to happen in the recently digitized economy.

she added that the claims were false and are attempts to soil her hard worn reputation.

“Where in this Ghana can one person be validated twice to collect double salary, they should investigate properly and come out with concrete evidence to prove to everybody including me”

“People just say things without any prove, they should move away from me enemies of progress and mere envious People”

Name of the District Chief Executive was spotted as part of teaching staff set to write promotion exams at NJA College of Education to the Rank of Assistant Director I, The DCE with index number UW/NJCE/ADI/23/0577 and Staff ID : 86306 will be writing on the 28th of February 2023 at Nusrat Jahan Ahmadiyya College of Education as a Teaching Staff and as a District Chief Executive of Wa West.

The DCE was appointed and voted into Office in November 2021, After an initial appointment of Ali Bukari in September 2021 failed to yield Fruits During the confirmation process at the Wa West District Assembly.

Meanwhile, the Upper West Regional Minister, Dr. Hafiz Bin Salih Also wrote a Promotion Exams at Tumu as a Teaching Staff in February 2021.
